Valtemont Goudernoux
Age at time of Death: Late 40's/ Early 50's
A Sharlyan man who lived decades ago in Sharlayan territories. The only known fact about his ‘previous’ life was he seemed well off, fairly wealthy, probably intelligent. Seems that his cause of death was a result of a complication of illness, but not much else is known even by him. Valt can not recall any details of his previous life. Soon after his death, a ‘doctor’ had exhumed his body and with secret techniques brought the man back to the land of the living. Valt had no choice but to stay with his Doctor, unable to venture out into society for fear of being hunted down. He continued to live with the Doctor and his ‘following’ until the Doctor’s death some 60 years later. After the Doctor’s passing, Valt ventured out for the first time in decades and for a few years wondered the mountains of Dravania. Fast forward and Valt has traveled south to what is now Thanalan. To avoid being seen in the light for what he truly is, Valt travels at night under the cover of darkness.
While in the Doctor’s care Valt was taught a varied array of magics, arcana, healing, black magics, and alchemy. Potion making consisted of various types including poisons, anti-venom, antidotes, and various ‘cures’ to ailments. He has extensive knowledge of plant life and continues to document all plant matter he comes across. His journals are filled with decades of research.
While he may seem like the type who would be rather frighting, he is actually very gentle. He had a special relationship with his previous master and roams the world searching for a purpose. Currently he has stumbled upon an underground organization and pledged himself to them, aiding them with medicine, potions, poisons, tonics, etc.
